"We, the undersigned, urge LOCOG and the ICC to approach IOC to incorporate Twenty20 cricket into 2012 Olympics in London as our cultural summer game similar to the adoption of Wushu in the Beijing Games by the Chinese. This will herald the return of cricket to the Olympics, showcase the game to a wider (non-cricketing) global audience, would be relatively easy to hold (as we have all the facilities already in London) and would add to the Olympic appeal to domestic and worldwide audiences that do not normally watch the Olympic games."
